Spring Cleaning
While grabbing screenshot images of wap sites listed in my wap directory it’s given me a good oppertunity to do some spring cleaning. It’s a shame that a lot of ideas for good mobile sites seem to fall by the wayside and people move on to other things when results don’t occur straight away. Back in 2000, I estimated it would take about 6 or 7 years before this stuff was mainstream content making good revenues for people.
The screenshots from the sites I think are particularly good will be displayed on this site to show anyone coming here what’s available to access from Click4WAP’s directory. I may even create a web version of the directory, although this area isn’t really meant to be a web version of the mobile site, it will give those new to WAP an idea of all the different types of content available to them whenever they fancy exploring as well as being an information resource on WAP in general.
When I’ve finished getting screenshots and clearing out some of the deadlinks from the directory ( yes it’s manually indexed by me ) I’ll get back to building the rest of the WAP resource pages here!
